Don't know if this has been posted, but a proud Canadian friend of mine sent me this link today:

Some pretty footage of a great Spit variant.

Good video, thanks for that. Do you know if she is flown very often now?

I do not; this is the first I've heard of this Seafire. Anybody out there know? Bueller...Bueller....?

Not the best pic, but this was taken at Airventure in 2010.

I don't think that she has been flown for the last few years.
I'd absolutely love to see her displayed. I played with her a bit while she was at Canadian Warplane heritage years ago.
Maybe some day.
Thanks for the video.

The only venue that I'm aware of that the Seafire has been displayed at publicly since its debut at Oshkosh in 2010 has been at the annual Columbia, Missouri "Salute to Veterans" airshow, which takes place at the same airport where the aircraft is based, so it has been rolled-out/placed on static display at these events. http://www.salute.org/index.html

There is a nice grouping of photos of the aircraft here (from the airshow page): http://www.salute.org/Seafire.html

From back in 2012, I know Jim Cooper, the individual which did such an excellent job restoring the Seafire, was working on the re-restoration of the owner's P-51D "Kansas City Kitty", and was looking to return the aircraft to its original 353rd FG markings, if possible, from which it had the name "Kansas City Kitty" originally during the war (but of course not the 339th FG markings it has carried following its previous restoration). Like the Seafire, the P-51 is another which has not been seen much in public or flying, but the aircraft are most certainly in good hands and beautifully restored/maintained.

Thanks you for the replies, pity she isn't flown, but at least she's airworthy then.
