I'm pretty sure it was a CH-21, but a chopper of that type of design was sitting out front of Parramor's Surplus in Mt Pleasant, Florida (near Quincy, FL, and somewhat near Tallahassee) for many years and vanished sometime in the 80s. Would anyone have a clue whatever happened to that one? No way it got scrapped as old man Parramore never sold the really good stuff he had unless you came with a mad bundle of cash. That sold early on, then he sold his Stuart tanks (yes, plural), then sold the 75MM pack howitzers (again, plural) that sat outside the main entrance to his place. I move away in the late 90s and haven't been back there since probably 94 or so. I understand they're scraping the ground clean as part of an EPA superfund cleanup. But that place had everything if you looked long enough. Anyway, does anyone have clue what might have happened to this helipcopter? They were nice enough to open it up for my brother and I to play around in once, I was probably 10 or 11 at the time...
