Warbird Information Exchange

I just found your site and the exchange concerning the above named Goose that crashed in Alaska in '43, with recovery in August, 1987. My uncle was Ensign Harold D. Bennett.

Thank you, John. Sorry I got you confused with Rajay. I heard back from both of you and I truly appreciate your responding. Uncle Harold was definitely CG not Navy. Dad, Jack Bennett (who was Navy), died in 2007 so I'm not sure where that email will end up . Again, thanks so much. Strangely enough I live here in Sacramento CA just southeast of what used to be McClellan AFB. Every day I see (and hear) the Coast Guard planes and copters go by as they have a station at the old base. Since we are quite a ways inland I always wonder about that. Anyway, again, my thanks.
