Will be a nice addition, although I personally love the annex. Great feel to it- but I love dark dusty hangers chock full of one of a kind aircraft.

A simple request: take the plugs and "B" mods off the Hanoi Taxi and repaint as an A model C-141.

Ohh and fire up the XB-70 and the Thunderscreech and taxi them over.

My first visit to the museum was in 1981...back when it was still the one building.

I rather liked it smaller. Particularly I miss the AF Chaplin display overlooking the large gallery...also, IIRC the snack bar also had a view.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great place...but there is something nice about a more intimate space.

Sounds like it will be a great addition. Its been a few years since I've been there but hope to go back soon. And if anyone has never taken the behind the scenes tour, I highly recommend it! It is well worth it. :drink3:
