After the senseless, tragic event that occured this past Friday literally in my own backyard (at my alma mater UCSB once again ) and with today being Memorial day.
I'm thinking this photo, in somewhat keeping with the mission of WIX, may perhaps express some thoughts about what we all would like to see. (not talking about the pinup of course) Wishful thinking I know, but a nice thought never-the-less.
I'm not much for holidays but Memorial day has always been my most humble and thought provoking day of each year when I spend quite a bit of time throughout the day thinking about those folks who sacrificed so much so that all of us could live as peaceful as possible. Doesn't always work out that way, as Friday once again showed us, but our service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten and certainly not by me as long as I'm allowed to still post around here.

... and I know you all feel the same way.
