D*mn I miss watching the Tomcats flying the pattern at Miramar when I lived under the flight path. I had a few Tomcat pilots as neighbors too.

Here is the actual event information for it. https://www.facebook.com/events/1383473 ... r=upcoming

Former members of VF-31 make the arrangements with the museum to be able to have access to the plane. Family, friends, and aviation enthusiasts are welcome to join in. This year, they're adding a cookout and will need to have a rough head count in order to not miss anyone.

Just a question somewhat off subject. Is there a dedicated large group or entity that their central interests are the F-14 Tomcat. I'm thinking of an entity such as the VFP-62 website whom promotes anything F8U, F9F-6P, -8P or other aircraft before these, and whom generally supports all activities relating to VFP-62...I know that many museums around country have F-14's on display, but which ones are more centrally dedicated to the 'Tomcat'. Any advise? ... geek

Liza I have tried to contact the organizers several times but I never got a reply. Would you mind to let them know that they can 'Claim the event" by clicking on the button on top of the page- By doing that take the ownership and eventually add as many other events they want.Thanks.
