Davis Monthan open house 2014

Wed Apr 16, 2014 12:30 pm

Not bad for an open house. Disappointed in that the base that host's heritage flight training didn't get a heritage flight up.
Oh well there's always next year I guess
I had also meant to get pics of the gate guards but its kinda hard to stop along the road when its blocked or lined with cone's and there's no place to pull over. I was able to get shots of the F-86 on a stick near the flight-line! Score! :D
Now onto the pics:

Beautiful shots! :D thanks for posting them. What a clear day there. Not a cloud in the sky.

Great photos!

The weather appears to be much better than on Saturday when I was there.

I understand your frustration about the gate guards. I was able to photograph the F-86L a couple of years ago, but have not been able to photograph the aircraft by the Craycroft/Golf Links gate.
