B-25 named Shady Lady in the mid 1970s

Greetings All, I am looking for the serial on the B-25 that was named the Shady Lady back in the mid 70's.
I thought I had the serial, but alas, I am mistaken.
I am sure someone here will have the answer to my minor delima.

A thread from a few year ago with a pic of "Shady Lady" includes this info:

I've got an old CAF promotional booklet that has a clear side view photo, and the number on the tail is "86891A." A Google search of that number comes up with B-25J 44-86891A, N3337G. I'm not sure what the "A" suffix on the USAAF serial number means, but I think it's safe to assume that "Shady Lady" is the aircraft now painted as "Lazy Daisy Mae" at Castle.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate you taking the time to help me solve this. I have an old news clipping of the -25 going to Castle, with the late Great Jimmy Doolittle on hand to receive the bomber. I was aware that 37G went there but didn't know she was ever named Shady Lady. Riddle solved. Can I get a HOUR scan of that from you for my file? Would appreciate it man. I knew I'd get a clear and correct answer here.

I know from a purist's standpoint that B-25 must not evoke much love but, personally, I think that it looks spectacular with the solid nose and all guns removed.

Stripped or fully equipped, either way, the North American B-25 is beautiful, absolutely Beautiful :axe:

when I was a kid, i'm 35 now, my grandfather was part owner of the b-25 called the shady lady. we bomed the shafter parade with toilet paper and once in a while he would gat rotten tomatos from riemers farm and bomb the field workers swimming in the reservoir. We had her parked outside tiger destephnies hanger and i played under it as a kid on hot days at Minter Field. I know that castle air museum ended up with her, I believe by donation, not positve though.. My dad has pictures of her. My grand father was Raymond E. Nelson and he owned dennis air service on the shafter airport. He was 1 cool cat:)

T.O. 1-1-81 published 15 Aug, 1955 assigned five letters to be added to aircraft not in the full time, front line services category both to the tail number and the data blocks. A=USAF, G= ARMY, R= Reserve units, T=ROTC. Up until 1-1-81 was issued T=Air Attache' after which that designator was dropped.
