Arrowhead was the name of the now imprisoned Jim Fry's investment firm. He owned the Corsair and P-38 wrecks before his legal troubles. I wonder if this in an old ad from the forced sale of his collection?

These were all at one time part of Jim Fry's collection, and I am pretty certain the Corsairs went to Jim Tobul. I'm not sure what happened to the Hellcat parts though.

Cheers,
Richard

Is Jim Tobul using the second -4 for parts or as a future restoration?

The Hellcat photos look familiar; isn't that mostly drone/ground target wreckage from China Lake and/or what's left of this one? http://www.warbirdregistry.org/f6fregis ... 94385.html

I heard that the drone parts were at WestPac at one time. Not sure if they are still there.

Would make sense since the Corsairs ended up there as well.

Westpac is where they would have been IIRC.

I have a pair of MLG Retract Cylinders with all the steel parts including the rams in usable condition. Thats all the F6F parts I have.
I remember seeing a wing from the CAF burned Hellcat at Gary Austin's place.

Just so you know, TheTobuls' bought up all of Pardue's Corsair stuff back in the 80's. Ironically they have more Bearcat parts than they ever had Corsair parts. Heard it from "The Man"myself last year.

Pardue's hanger has a large amount of Corsair parts. Tobul did not buy it all.
