Just curious, how many were built? Any lost in combat? ANy lost due to weather or training accidents?

Nearly 260 built with mostly G models used in Korea. A number were lost operationally. Here's the link

Thank you! It is about time someone published another book on the F-82! I was becoming exasperated with the paucity of books on this magnificent airplane, and frustrated by the high prices asked for out-of-print copies of the few older books that exist.

I will be first in line for a copy. In fact, PM me and I'll help you promote it on my website.
