Yes that was a rhyme, a poor one but still a rhyme. The ever so updated WIX registry states this Corsair is down under being restored to flight as of 2007.

"FG-1D NX63382 (Race #90) 'Joe' was flown by Thomas Call in the 1946 Bendix Trophy race; he managed 15th Place with an average speed of over 325 MPH. Re-numbered Race #99 the following year, Frank Whitton flew her to a 7th Place finish, averaging 320 MPH."

I seem to remember seeing parts of it at FoF, maybe only the centre section went to Australia?
