This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I have an Individual Aircraft Record Card from WW II which shows the overseas foreign destination code "WIPE." This one does not appear in any list that I have found. Anybody have an idea what this code refers to?
Following "WIPE" is the entry "ET DIV FRANCE." Any idea what ET DIV might mean? Engineering Test? Eastern Transport? The dates for this assignment are in 1947. The aircraft went from ET to FLC (Foreign Liquidation Commission) 17 June 1948
The aircraft in question is Cessna UC-78 43-32080.
