Hi, can anyone confirm the official TBO for an L-440 please, the 175hp version?

Unless it is listed in the TCDS for the engine, all TBO times are advisory in nature, as long as you make compression tests and the engine meets it's oil pressure and other ratings, your good to go.

Haven't found an independent source, but in an article he wrote about an originally-configured 200 hp 6-440-C5 Ranger-powered Grumman G-44 Widgeon, AOPA editor Barry Schiff noted that the "recommended TBO" for the engines was "on condition" as shown here:
