I would appreciate any insight you may have in helping to identify the following three CB/VB-17 aircraft: VB-17 with Wright Field "arrow" logo on vertical stabilizer. Appears to have 44-83 serial prefix/ [url][/url]b]

Late war/early post-war B-17's did so many things that were different from the bombing mission; unraveling these mysteries is a HUGE jigsaw puzzle. Any ideas or thoughts welcome. Thanks so much.[/
