In 2011 we stood and spoke with Tim who was making new aft spar/shearweb for, IIRC, the A-25 Shrike. He had build a wooden fixture around which the aluminum was bent and the various holes located - my photo does not do it justice. The precision and care that had obviously gone into the woodwork were incredible ... the fixture itself looked museum worthy. I sure hope some youngsters are shadowing guys like this - some great talent.

Would like to see a pop culture fabricator like Jesse James film a TV special working alongside a man like this; he's done "support the troops" events before. If they could cull the drama, rushed schedules, etc it might inspire the next generation of Restorers.
