63yrs ago on July 2 1950, the Royal Australian Air Force was flying combat missions over North Korea supporting waves of USAF SAC B-29 Superfortresses.

Here is a reminder of what it would of looked like for some.. in that warm July summer month in 1950 in Japan.... taken back in 2008 i posed in complete RAAF Mustang flightgear alongside a Aussie Mustang VH-MFT which is painted as a Korean War era Mustang ...at the 2008 Coffs Harbour airshow....
