If you haven't read Don Lopez's "Fighter Pilot's Heaven: Flight Testing the Early Jets", I highly recommend it.

One thing he mentions is flight testing every point in (and out of) the envelope of the T-6 while in Test Pilot School, then at Wright-Patt. As a beginner T-6 pilot, it would be fascinating and educational to see what he, and possibly hundreds of other students, were able to document regarding this classic. I have the USAF T-6G "dash one" but I would like to know more.

Does anyone on here have any insight as to the availability of any of this documentation or similar technical, yet pilot oriented, data? Any help would be much appreciated.

Ken

Flying magazine did a pilot report (from a GA pilot perspective) in 1969- to 1972 timeframe. It should be available at your library.

Thanks, I just put it on the Kindle. Chuck Gardner might chime in on the T-6...
