Seriously thanks folks for the support and words of encouragement to continue to post. It's just for some fun and enjoyment for all of us. Nothing really to get worked up about I guess. Some of us 'thin skinned' dudes need a bit of support sometimes.

Question for the experts, why are we not seeing an F2A Buffalo being restored or recreated to flight? By the looks of these photos the airframe really doesn't seem that difficult a design. Just an observation. Chuck Wahl? how about it

On Memorial Day I was watching Robert Taylor/Red Skeleton movie called Flight Command. I think they had F3F's in the movie??? The guns were mounted in the nose. Are the guns on these things in the same place?

Looks like it might have beneffited with a bigger prop or 4 blade
