Took another cross-country today and stopped in Uvalde where there is a P-51. Didn't know that there was also a beautiful T-33 and and T-28 there. Saw a C-47 in D-Day markings at Hondo but didn't have time to stop.
Here are some pictures. Again, sorry for the hanger pictures, flashes don't do everything...

Hey, I know that T-33! Remember that one from Chino back in the '90s. It was beautiful then too, glad to see it is still around.

Was still there a Learjet either a 24 or a 25, sans engines, catty corner to the hangar where the T-28 was?

Saludos,

Ryan, there is also a small museum on the corner of the field. You might be surprised what's there.

Rick:

I tried to visit the museum on at least three different occasions, and it was closed every time.

Asking around, I was told that the museum had closed.

When was the last time you visited? If it is still open, I would like to check it out.

Saludos,

Tulio

No, I didn't see the Learjet, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. I was told that the museum is almost always open on Fridays but I couldn't get in on Saturday. They say there's an A-26 and a B-25 in there. The T-33 was catty-corner to the T-28. There were a bunch of civillian aircraft and a nice J-3 Cub. Lots of jets on the field for a small airport.
