Hey Mods...You moved the thread? I only read THIS page on WIX....too bad you've pulled it off of page one....wonder how many possible extended contacts we will lose in this search now that it is buried someplace that I wouldn't even think to look!

I can understand the paint scraping discussion being moved....but the people search and accumulated data should stay where it was.

If people only look at one section on WIX and ignore the other sections (not talking about you in particular, Pathfinder, just a general comment) then you run the risk of missing something that might interest you. If you just click the "view unread posts" button then everything shows up from all pages and you can pick and choose what you like, regardless of the section it is in. From there its simple to click "board index" and then "Mark Forums read", thus clearing out all the other messages you don't care to read. If I didn't do it this way I would probably just check the main board too and most of the other boards are of no interest to me. Occasionally something will get put somewhere else and I'll find it interesting.

I'm with PATHFINDER, in the past we've watched and participated in plenty of restortation projects continuing threads ( and a couple that have morphed into 'stickys' while a constantly visited and posted to thread 'What airplane did you see....' which should be a 'sticky' floats around like a dead bug in a birdbath) in fact there are a few restoration 'stickys' on this forum right now that don't seem to cause any uproar.
If the subject matter is totally inappropriate like posting 'New kitchens in Blackpool' then move that to a more correct location, this airplane is a combat veteran and I feel deserves to remain in the Hangar.

That is what I'm worried about. I too mainly only come into the main WIX hangar sub-forum.

Ya was wondering why it was moved over there myself since we have 4/5 stickied restoration threads in in the main sub-forum. I mean I understand trying to keep stuff all in one place, but I don't get why some are in one forum and others in another.

I know personally, I have received pm's from people who said they just happened to stumble into the main sub forum and saw it, doubt that will happen in the one it's in now.
