it has been decided by the remaining original tuskegee airmen that no further reunions will be held due to advancing years of age & declining health of it's members. less than 200 of the original quantity of 992 members remain alive. they decided at their 34th convention this past august that it would be their last gathering. another icon of ww 2 aviation history slowly fades away.

returned from AFAA reunion in St. Louis today, had a great time, 23 aces attended this year(while 22 passed away since last reunion) next reunion is in Wash.. DC next august then any future ones will be held in Seattle at the home of the AFAA.
