REQ: I/d of P-51D at Mojave in 1981

Seen at Movaje in '81 was this P-51:-

I am not usually a rivet counter but the proportions and placement of the national insignia are all wrong.

IIRC it was painted this way for a movie filmed there about the Redtail Squadron started in the late 70s. It was never completed.
