I've seen a few places where people have complained that Sun n Fun had a lackluster showing of warbirds this year. I haven't been there since the early 90s myself. Anybody have any list of warbirds that showed up this time around?

Three YAK-52TW types - N252TW, N718PH, and N621TW did RON rest stop on 7 April 2013 at Harris County Airport, Pine Mountain, GA.
They were headed to Fun n Sun…. pop2
At Harris County Airport 8) Jet fuel and AV-gas is cheaper than at Columbus Metro.

Chuck Gardner flew The Brat down and I have yet to see any pictures of it or him. Jim Harley is doing great in the photo world out in Scottsdale though...

I got to the warbird ramp on Saturday just to watch a P-51 and a Skyraider take off and leave. From the ammount of aircraft and warbirds I saw there last year i was very disappointed this year. The C-54 from the Berlin Airlift guys didn't even show up. The largest thing on the very empty flightline was the muesums FedEx 727.

Very Disappointed.

Wow....must be the closest I've gotten to meeting another WIXer in person...! I was in front of the booth for "Panchito" taking a bunch of pictures of the 'Stang and Sandy rolling out.

On Saturday I saw a P-51C (CAF Red Tail Bird), a P-51D (Crazy Horse II), another plain P-51D, a Skyraider, an A-4 Skyhawk, an F4U Corsair, a bunch of AT-6's (and a "Super T-6), an O-2 Skymaster, two B-25's and the group from the Black Diamond Team. In addition, there was a C-47 and a Super DC-3 outfitted with turboprop powerplants. Saw a Chipmunk along the way too.

After so many years going to Chino it felt weird to not see bazillions of Warbirds at a large airshow. Then again, its nice to see a whole new set of aircraft I haven't seen often before.

Something tells me I saw you! I was walking infront of the Corsair jsut as I heard a V-12 go thundering down the runway so I stopped between the gap of the tent and Panchito to watch!

The aircraft behind the Skyraider is a modified T-6, a Super Six.

Not trying to be mean or anything (because I like the "Plain/ plane" one....just don't recognize it having not been on the East Coast in decades.).....but I will say the P-51 I see on a nearly daily basis is a lot flashier looking in its paint scheme...
