The Australian Government has today released a list of museums which will in 2013 receive retired F-111 aircraft for public , providing they all meet very stringent display terms.The winners of the tender process were -

* Aviation Historical Society of the Northern Territory (Winnellie NT);
* Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome Heritage Aviation Association (Evans Head NSW);
* Fighter World (Williamtown NSW);
* Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (Albion Park Rail NSW);
* Queensland Air Museum (Caloundra QLD); and
* South Australian Aviation Museum (Port Adelaide SA).

The RAAF(A) Museum at Bull Creek in WA will get a static crew module to put on display

Some F-111 aircraft are already around Australia already on display at the RAAF Amberley and at the RAAF Museum, RAAF Point Cook.
