News doing the rounds not sure if already posted? -

"in 2005 an Austrian privateman and aviation enthusiast decided to build his own WW2 warbird, a Bf109G-6,
built after original plans, besides some original parts like the DB605, the rest is a complete newbuild.

in january 2012 the fuselage was finally built up and the engine installed
