The Cavanaugh Flight Museum's P40 is back in the air after a 3 year restoration.

Hope to have you at Hondo in May. We could do an AVG theme.

Can you disclose what was done in the restoration? Froma few feet away it looked immaculate the last time I was there (maybe 4 years ago).

Cockpit and Firewall forward. The exterior was done several years ago.

I probably have some from my vists to Cavanaugh over the last few years. When I get home from work I can see what I have and post them here if interested?

GREAT looking P-40! Glad to see such an outstanding restoration and glad to see it back in the air again.

Now if you could please see about getting the F9F-2B Panther back in the air again.......to see it fly at Sun 'n Fun, Oshkosh or somewhere else again would be fantastic!

And I hope to see that P-47N restored and flying someday too.

:)

That's the wrong shade of Tan on those legs. She needs some expert coaching. Wonder if she has a Cub picture?
