This was the show I wanted to go to, but had a prior commitment that day when I came up from Florida. I thought this show was a gathering of TBM Avengers? I only saw one in the picture though. Thanks for posting

'Lady Lodestar' is still in Chesapeake, VA. She had a landing incident back in 2005. She was to go to a museum but they had to back out because of money issues. The engines and props were sent to help maintain the C-60 down in West Houston.

That was the Avenger gathering. Heck of a Navy turnout that year. As I recall, 13 Avengers, PBY, Albatross, Widgeon, R4D Skytrain, Dauntless, Helldiver, Hellcat, two Wildcats, three or four Corsairs and Royal Navy representation with the Firefly and Sea Fury. It was the first year they had three Thunderbolts too. I remember coming in on I-94 as an Avenger flew over with the P-47s in formation. Awesome. One of my top three Thunder shows I enjoyed most, along with 2009 and 2011.

Sounds like they had a better Navy turn out than the Centenial of Navy Aviation year.
