How were the crowds? I've been there when it looked like someone was passing out $20 bills. Looks like John was giving 'the Grump' a workout, more coming?

Sweet pictures- thanks for sharing!!!
Right after I was elected President of the local Studebaker Club-
I got to catch a bit of the 'Birds routine from high atop a hill East of Sumas.
A local car-guy had a HUGE open house for his family and friends on his 500 acre estate.
Since he's a StudeGuy- and I am too- I was invited. :supz:

So, between the C-5 and the C-17~
which one just now (within the last 20 minutes) left the field?
I'm far enough away that I could not identify which bird it may have been.

But what I saw was BIG, grey, had four engines and a 't' tail.
Headed off to the SSE (after a due West departure) she was...

Probably the C-5 which was broken down with hydraulic issues.

Surprised they allowed the ground explosions as dry as it is around here, and I've seen the grass there really take off during those passes and CONAIR is such a long way away for response (CONAIR is based @ Abbotsford).
I've seen the jet powered PETERBILT and 'SMOKE AND FIRE'there, but can you explain the pulse jet powered outhouse????

Here's some more video from the show. By the way, the outhouse as you can see was powered by a jet engine and it could 76 mph down the runway.

They had the firetruck at the ready for the fires that got a little too exciting. Would've loved a Conair demo though!

They had the Evergreen 747 scheduled a few years ago but it had to cancel. That would've been awesome!
