There should also be a second ALQ-71/71A on the aft ECM station between the engines that is hidden by the ventral strakes.

The F-111A, despite its problems being rushed into combat by MacNamara, still did a good job. Had it had the benefit of the PAVE TACK or even PAVE PENNY, it would have been devestating delivering laser guided munitions. The other problem was the aircraft wasn't cleared to use the Bullpup and Walleye until late in the war, again hindering its effectiveness.
