Has the spare B-47 at the NMUSAF been shipped off yet to its new home in New Mexico?

I'd still like a decent explanation on why the former Pease aircraft was never reassembled and instead became a parts source for the NMUSAF RB-47.

Some say Ellsworth didn't have enough money to put it back together, others say it was corroded.

I hate to sound like a conspiracy nut, but it's rather convenient that it was suddenly available for the Museum to "part out".

Anyone know the real story and what became of the the rest of the aircraft?

It is unlikely that we "commoners" without hinted links to the inner circle would ever get the "real story" about anything concerning the NMUSAF, especially on WIX. Those who think the Museum can do no wrong will come on here and treat us to a very limited version of their "inside knowledge" while the government/military haters will just blast away.................
