Thank you for the video link.

An airworthy Anson is long overdue, and this one will be a ripper!

Cheers,
Matt

I had a crawl through this one over Easter. It's a real credit to Bill Reid and his crew for turning out such a beautiful restoration. It's fully kitted out inside and I can't wait to see it fly. The next "cab off the rank" is in the background, the former John Smith Lockheed Hudson. No doubt, that too will be something to see when those guys get into it.

Latest news just in is that the aircraft flew at 1117hr today (July 18), as reported at Wings over New Zealand: http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?ac ... 662&page=3

Great news and congratulations well deserved to the Reid family.

Here's the 4 minute segment from TV3's current affairs show, hope you can see it outside NZ.

And there is now a photo in flight (by Gavin Conroy) at the Wings Over NZ thread above.

Great news, big congrats to Bill & Robyn for getting this ex-Aussie airworthy; all credit to Kiwi hard work (and a degree of international support!)

Errol, the clip plays fine this side of the Tasman, so should be OK even for countries that drive on the wrong side...

Regards,
