Some BEAUTIFUL Sabre (and Fury) shots there!

Can't give a lot of help with units, but in looking at a few of the shots going top to bottom:

31418/FU-418 is a great looking F-86H-10-NH from that short period around 1956/57 or so when the active Air Force flew F-86H's before they all went to the Air Guard. Not sure what the Wing or Squadron is.

25222/FU-222 is a beautiful F-86F that was the Wing Commander's airplane while with the 21st Fighter-Bomber Wing at Chambley AB, France during the 1955/56/57 time period. The late Wyatt Fuller's Sabre that was lost in July 2006 was painted in these markings.

8276/FU-276 is a nice looking F-86A assigned to the 116th Fighter Interceptor Squadron/81st Fighter Interceptor Wing at RAF Shepherds Grove, UK around the 1951 time period.

The last photo appears to be an FJ-3 Fury assigned to VF-33 around the 1954/55 period before they were painted in the light grey finish around 1956/57.

Hopefully some others can help identify units for the other F-86A/E/F Sabres in these photos. Love seeing these colorful Sabres and hopefully we will see some of these paint schemes on a restored warbird someday.

If you have any more to share, please do! 8)

Yeah, nice shot of the Territory of Hawaii Air National Guard's F-47N Thunderbolt, F-86E Sabre and T-33A Shooting Star from around late 1953/early 1954 or so.

Saw it posted on the Flying Heritage Collection's Facebook page earlier today.

And as for the one of a kind TF-86, while unique, that is one Sabre that I don't really care for. The large canopy and extended length really hurts the beauty of the classic Sabre design and lines in my opinion.

This one was at the fantastic Aviation Heritage show at Clark County, IN in either 1994 or 1995. Ex-Bolivian.

Sure looks similar to this one that Zane posted here: (http://www.warbirdinformationexchange.o ... &view=next)
