Pilots Escape Injuries?
If the A/C isn't damaged the likelihood of injuries is remote.
I guess every time we fly and are able to taxi up to the hangar afterwards we can say we escaped a groundloop on that flight.
The L-2 was approaching the road to land probably 15 - 20 MPH slower than the traffic.

The best part of the article,

"A man in the truck driving near Cauley pulled over on the side of the road, exited his vehicle and started running from the area, she said."
