https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rathmine ... 0446395385Come November 2012 - all going well - people north of Sydney will be able to witness a truly amazing rare event - for the first time in a long time a flying Catalina will conduct a flying display and then proceed to alight on Lake Macquarie and then taxi to the former RAAF Catalina base at Rathmines.
The HARS Catalina is planning to taxi up the former seaplane ramp and be on display for the locals and inspect inside the aircraft.
