I'm Sorry, but 121442 is not the W.Nr. it is the BU number assigned by US Navy. The W.Nr. for this machine is unknown.

If you check the Me 262 W.Nr. database at www.stormbirds.com you can't find a match for 121442 since it was not assigned.

Research from historian David Brown using capture photos, camo patterns etc. has proved the aircraft is wk.nr.501232. 'Yellow 5' of Gefechtsverband Hogeback ( ex 3./KG(J) 6 and wearing a red/black chequer RV band). Dayton are in possesion of the information and research and will hopefully get around to painting it correctly, but not a priority I am afraid.
