I saw that earlier as well when i was looking at Kermit's FB. I still have been wondering what was going on with the second Brookes B-17. Any body out in WIX land have any news or photo's maybe? I asked on the twin mustang FB page and was told that they would try to post a photo....

Travis.

The pictures that Kermit posted are of the B-17 that Mr. Brooks recovered from Labrador in 2004. I've been working on it off and on since the fall of 2004, with most of our effort and staffing ramping up in the last year and a half.

While I have occasionally worked for the Liberty Foundation (and donated many weekends crewing on the Liberty Belle), I have no idea what their plans are going forward. I assume that combining the two airplanes into one flying airplane is but one of the many options that they are looking at.

It would be nice seeing two B-17's touring together at once... flying formation wherever they go... :)
