I was waiting for someone to mention this! Three Zero's and a Judy together. Has to be the first time in a very long time. 8)

In the album there is a sequence of the Zero's taxing out behind the B-25 camera ship, I bet we will see some great photos.

That really is something, all right. Now that's MY idea of a Tora Tora Tora show!

Quite a coup to get the rarely displayed Mojave Zero out to the show.

I see they hauled out the J2M as well. I would love the chance to photograph that one in daylight.

Best wishes for a fun, well-attended and safe event.

I am really hoping they get a group shot with the Zero's, Judy, and Raiden. (Although I am plenty thankful to see the Zero's and Judy together).

I agree, the restoration went pretty quickly too. I believe they are restoring it to ground running condition. Too much work to make it airworthy. (That and the fact that it is extremely rare!)

With the restoration of the Judy, the way they went with it also allowed them to retain as much of the original structure and skins as possible - you can find bullet holes on it still remaining from WWII.

There have been some photos and video posted lately of the POF Mustang, as well, re-finished in stunning 506th FG (Iwo Jima) markings, complete with the dual antenna installation on the spine. The Museum's Mustang, a P-51D-30-NT, was actually manufactured with that particular antenna setup, called "uncle dog" (the same as used by Mustangs based on Iwo Jima), and it still retained the mounting holes for the dual spine antennas all these years. It would be icing on the cake to see the lower cowling antenna mast re-installed too.

Pretty cool to go from not seeing any Mustangs finished in 506th FG markings (since WWII!?), to having two examples painted in 506th/Iwo Jima colors this year!

Thank you for the heads-up on this! I've always enjoyed Britt's photography. Some photos have been coming in within the past couple of hours.

I have a feeling "Dolly" is going to be one highly requested Mustang!
