Seems this rare RAAF WW2 project is advancing nicely into restoring a frontline RAAF fighter of WW2. Quite a few Boomerangs are under restoration in Australia and it is hard to believe that this was designed to take on the Zero in a short timeframe in early 1942...it ended the war mostly known for its roles in CAS and communication duties.
