Looking for a USAF era 1970's brochure or booklet or catalog

Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:26 pm

Back in the early '70s as a CAP cadet, we naturally always had USAF propaganda around. One magazine-like booklet or brochure I've always remembered, due to the pics, was some sort of a USAF publication that had all of the Commands along with pics of their aircraft. I still have a 1/72 model of an F-106 painted like the one shown in this booklet. I check eBay regularly searching the 'best guess' that I might get a hit on but alas, I haven't found it. Anyone happen to know more specifically what I might look for? Thanks.

The U.S. printing office had the type of publication that you recall.

They have sales offices in major US cities.

If I may suggest, you should contact them, and ask if they may have some old publications still for sale?

Good luck!

I know "Airmen" magazine does a annual edition that lists all the MAJCOMS, Numbered AF's etc and shows what aircraft and weapon systems are assigned to each one.
