How's this for a ramp full o' great stuff? Cessna 140, Cessna 170, Douglas A-26B "Texas Special", and Douglas C-49J "Southern Cross" (along with Dallas-built ex-RNZAF Harvard IV NZ1079 parked behind me on the ramp, couldn't get it in the same shot).

This gorgeous Cessna 170 is owned by WIXer "pmahaffey". It's a stunning beauty!

We may not get a lot of pinup models like they do at Cavanaugh's, but we do get some fine ol' flying machines! 8)

We get stuff like this, too: (yes, it's mine, and this is shameless bragging)

Here's the Harvard IV, in case anyone wanted to see it:

Nice shots!

The Harvard is actually a Mk III, the Harvard IVs were post-war Canadian-built, and none ever served with the RNZAF.

Regardless of that, 1079 is a pretty aeroplane. :)

Thanks for the correction, Mike. As you can tell, I'm no expert. :D And you're right, it is a pretty airplane!
