$500K to go back to Gardner Island, where they already searched years ago, to see if there is possibly a landing gear strut sticking out of the water!!!! How did they miss it the first time!!!!
The water depth "varies too much" to look at the object now?!!! It's sticking out of the frickin water!!!! I could look at it in a row boat!!!!
Someone's making some cash on this! :vom:

The goverment gave those idiots 1/2 million of our money?? I don't care if they had a picture of AE dancing on the beach, why is our gubmit giving away our money. Of course now they can be looking for the right plane.......The Lockheed/Martin................they never looked for before. No wonder they couldn't find it. 20 years later we are still getting screwed by a Clinton.

Figured you would like the video... :P

And yes, its extremely sad that our government is funding a trip over there... when they already have one planed and don't need money. But, we have a credible man over here whose evidence adds up, along with proof of wreckage, who would love to use 500,000$

Of course when they come back with nothing, then the government will never give money loans to finding aircraft again. :x

Speaking of TIGHAR, when are they getting the B-32 off the moon?

The reporter was referring to the "water level" not depth, and how the island is covered with water for extended periods of time. What!!!! I thought sea level was fairly constant except for tides and for this island to be covered , we got bigger problems beside this gov't giving away taxpayers money for such stupid things. I thought I saw a bigfoot hiding in the bushes in that picture, send them more money.

Relax guys..it looks like it's TIGHAR's money funding the search..not ours.

Backed by an unnamed half-million-dollar private donation, the search for Earhart’s plane will start anew this summer about halfway between Hawaii and Australia.

That +1

Also the alleged strut as I understand it, is under 800 ft of water, not sticking out.
