Does anyone have any photos of the 38th Bomb Group B-25's with the Dragons, beyond what pops up in google? Now for the challenging fun part. How about of a J glass nose (painted over) gunship? 8)

There's a book coming coming out called Saga of the Sun Setters, which looks to be comparable to Warpath! about the Air Apaches. Unfortunately it's not out yet, with no release date in sight. :(

Actually yes The horrible mishandling of "Kens Men' really angers me. A buddy's grandfather had been CO of the 63rd at one point on B24s. They were expecting that book out in the late 90s.

I have Warpath Across the Pacific, and it's a wonderful book. But one good book doesn't justify not following through on the commitment made to the guys of the 43rd or 38th etc. Frankly it's a disgrace

If you bounce around to other boards on WW2 history, you'll see the folks who never finished these works, asking for help and doing research on new projects.

Finish what you started. Those vets they made promises to deserved better.

Ken's Men was supposed to come out in the 90's? Good grief. That's another one that I really want! :(

Howdy All

Latest information from the 38th BG Association in regards to their history book
Still waiting to hear back if it will be available to the general public (Non Veteran's and families)

http://www.sunsetters38bg.com/index.php ... -BOOK.html

I can understand both sides to the story
The Veterans are passing at a fast rate !
From the previous books published from Larry Hickey, you can see why it has taken so long

I"m a big fan of those books on medium bombers in the PTO. The photos taken by the rear facing strike cameras simply fascinate me.

I got another email that Ken's Men still has no release date as well. But both projects are not dead projects.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand... 38th BG Dragon B-25J glass nosed gunships! Anyone?
