Is that a Stearman?

(Sorry....I thought that was what EVERYONE asked when they saw an N3N.)

Last I knew it was down in MASS and airworthy. A few years ago it had gone up for insurance salvage as the hangar it was stored in got flooded (broken pipe) and was not discovered for a few weeks. Rust had pretty much set in and was all over the chrome struts and the air filter box had mold on the foam. I guess they did some good PM cleaning as she still retains these in accurate markings (mandnatory paint bashing quota filled) and has the 985 from her duster days but hey she is still flying and much better looking than any other biplane I know. :)

Thanks Jeff for the post and the link. Something about old airplanes and grass strips. I had hoped you would hop on this one and give us an update.

Cheers,
