Does anyone have inside information about what will be arriving there next other than the Il-2 Sturmovik?

Nothing concrete, but I'd venture they are trying to get the F6F and A6M two seater ready to fly for this upcoming season.

That thing is LOUD! It rocked my building 1/2 mile away and caused everyone in my building to stop and go outside to see what all the noise was about! :supz:

DANG IT, I was in Seattle today, I would have gone up there if I'd known this. The last time I saw a MIG-29 under power was through some serious optics from the friendly side of a certain border, but that's naother story. Been wanting to see a MIG-29 under power up close ever since I did this drawing of one (from photos that had been recently declassified at the time):

ALPHA 3, spent a lot of time there as the QC guy on tons of JT8D trims, 727's, 737's, MD-80's, at least 1 707 with JT-3D's. Had a funny incident there in a '27 with a Canadian Goose. Mr. & Mrs. Goose had set up house keeping along the edge of 16/34 near Alpha 3. Here we come to do a post 'C' check trim run. Mr. Goose took umbridge and runs out on the taxiway waving his wings, OK our turn, I opened #1 & #3 T/R's. This went on a couple of times and finally we decided to go past them just to keep our ground guys from being attacked by the big brown, 30 Lb. flying rats.We advised the tower of the campsite and animal control did come out and deal with them.
