Harrier in 1971 trials and comments

Time trip back to ... year 1971 and we see a British GR.1 Harrier display in Switzerland.

Flash forward to 2011 and we after many years see the F-35 / JSF doing similar trials in US.

Have we progress much??

In a 40years will we see JSF warbirds unlikely i suspect.
But in 2011 we have Harrier warbirds...
