Does anyone have photos of Stearmans based out of War Eagle Field during the war? Preferably late war - 1944 period.
I'm curious how they were marked. My grandfather did his primary training there before going to Minter Field for AT-6s. I'm toying with the idea of buying a Stearman and painting it in War Eagle colors as a tribute to him (he passed away a few weeks ago).
