Hello, my wife's stepfather gave me this NAA envelope of photos a few years ago. One of his relatives, I think it was an uncle (I shouldve written it down!), worked for the company through the 40's. Thought I'd share some scans, I'm not sure if they are rare or common. Were these photos given to all employees? Does anyone know what year the photos were taken and distributed? I like the xp-51 picture, how many were made? Is this the same xp-51 in the airventure museum? Enjoy!

Are you certain? I thought NA-73 didn't have any support structure in the forward wind screen, and the shadows of the two airplanes are totally different.

'Retouching', we used to call it. Like Photoshop, there are those who can do it well, and the rest. There's clues, after Jim put up this comparison pic, that are pretty obvious once you start looking.

The Harvards look to be RCAF not RAF to me, going by the early war overall yellow and RCAF style numeral only serials.

Thanks for sharing!

Shadows are different because the sun is in different places in the two photos. They're obviously not the same photo. Same aircraft and same place, though.
