Hey Jeff,

Spent the day in Chino and photographed some old junk I thought you might be interested in.

That N3N on floats is simply gorgeous! It's a thing of beauty that has to be seen in person to be appreciated. That's long been my most favorite N3N since they restored it many years ago.

Speaking of N3N's on floats, are any currently flown on water?

There's one out on the west coast of Canada flying on floats that I know of. Today was the first time that I'd seen one naked, and that is one tough looking bird!

Yanks has some cool stuff. I was there last year, thought that wing looked familiar. If you see Frank tell him I said Hi.

Jeff you notice that there are no pics of a Stearman. Yanks has excellent taste and recognizes a quality plane.
Actually both Frank and Charles have gone to extreme lengths to help us as we work to restore our N's.
They have a great collection and are expanding to Northern California.

On Monday when we were there, the guide said that one full wall of the third hanger (First hanger is all pretty restored stuff, second hanger is shop, third is storage...not counting everything outside- and there is also another storage hanger on the other side of the airport somewhere) was filled with engines on racks- and that he had no idea how many there were. He also said he thought a PBY was in that hanger! I gotta keep going back here until I find out more details.....I wish I had stopped in here years ago, instead of just heading off to POF. Now I have TWO great places to visit at the same field!

If you have the time and are in the area, don't skip Yanks for a visit....
