Just a simple question, that I have yet to find the answer to; who was the WWII-era manufacturer of the original N-9 Gunsight? I'm hoping someone here may know. I have found a few photos showing the manufacturer's label on the side of an N-9 sight, though I can't quite make it out. It seems rather difficult to find any photos of great quality, of the N-9 as a whole, on the internet - it must be a very rare item!

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide!

This is the closest I've been able to come, though either I am very dense, or the manufacturer's name is as hard to read/understand as I think it is. The first part looks like maybe "Robinson" or "Roginson", at least that is the only thing that would seem correct, and I can't quite make out with what the rest should be. (note the AN government ink-inspection stamp)

Robinson-Houchin Optical Company Columbus, Ohio

They were still in business as of 1965 per Google search

Those Gov. Inspectors sure used some stout ink!
