Has anyone ever been to one of these events at the museum? I think they host this event every other year. http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/news/s ... =123270984

I was there in 2003.

It was a lot of fun. In addition top the homebuilt s (and some fun looking sub-scale Jenny "replicas") there was a not-quite finished full-scale Fokker DVII replica trucked in from California.

Also, there was a nice collection of pre-1918 cars ranging from the expected "T"s and Curved-dash Olds to a 14 Cadillac, a 1910 Pierce Arrow roadster, and a 14 Stutz Bearcat replica.

I'm strictly a WW2 fan....but was at the USAFM one day a few years ago when this was going on and took a look.

It is absolutely fascinating...
